For convenience in transport, CROFT's Passive Dehydration Systems can be either skid-mounted or trailer-mounted and can be paired with separators and/or coalescing filters.
PDS units, as solid desiccant dehydration systems, serve as a safe, zero-emission alternative to traditional glycol dehydrators or TEGs.
This dehydration system operates when wet gas ascends through a sequence of dry desiccant vessels filled with our specially crafted enviroDRI® desiccant.
Treating field gas by reducing the BTU eliminates heavy hydrocarbons and avoids hydrate formation and engine derating. This BTU reduction allows for the conversion of previously unusable fuel from the wellhead to power dual fuel and e-fleet engines. By isolating the NGLs and drying the gas stream, we address many of the elements that frequently lead to engine problems.
The Fuel-Gas Conditioning System uses the Ambient Cooling System for initial gas cooling. Subsequently, the Joule Thomson System handles the removal of hydrates and hydrocarbon liquids, further diminishing the BTU.
CROFT can tailor-make a fuel gas conditioning system, integrating line heaters, meter runs, and separators to offer a comprehensive solution for e-frac fleets.
Croft designs separators in both horizontal and vertical styles, offered in either two-phase or three-phase models. Ensuring effective separation is vital to stop slugging and particulates from affecting subsequent processing machinery. Croft's separators are fitted with comprehensive instrumentation within a sturdy, unified package, simplifying transport and installation and consequently cutting down on delivery and setup times.
